The Office of SMEs Promotion and five partners have launched a project with an aim to aid 1,300 SMEs in Bangkok, the Central Region and the eastern region. The Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi is one of the project’s partners. MSME Step Up project aims to help independent businesses with up to B1.8 million in revenue to stay afloat despite the ongoing pandemic by strengthening them through digital marketing tools, using technology to improve their operations and more. Asst Dr Sommai Pivsa-art, president of the university, said it will focus on SMEs in the Central Region, which include Bangkok and adjacent provinces, as well as those in the eastern region.
