Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), through the Faculty of Science and Technology, in collaboration with National Pingtung University, Taiwan, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), will host the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society Conference: Asia-Pacific 2025 (IEEE TEMSCON-ASPAC 2025). The conference, to be held in Bangkok from 13–16 September 2025 under the theme “Achieving Competitiveness in the Age of AI and Big Data Analytics”, is positioned as a premier international forum for knowledge exchange in technology and engineering management.
According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art, President of RMUTT, this event constitutes an important academic platform that provides opportunities for researchers, scholars, and experts worldwide to present their work, exchange insights, and foster collaborations in technology and engineering. He emphasized that the conference will significantly contribute to advancing Thai research to the international stage, while strengthening the country’s long-term capacity for sustainable development. In particular, the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data Analytics, which play a transformative role in the global knowledge economy, will be central to the discussions. The outcomes of this academic engagement are expected to reinforce Thailand’s competitiveness in alignment with the 20-Year National Strategy, the Digital Economy policy, and the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy model.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Nipat Jongsawat, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, further highlighted that RMUTT’s role as a host of IEEE TEMSCON-ASPAC 2025 reflects the strength and readiness of Thai academia and research to respond to global challenges and rapid transformations. He noted that the conference will also serve as a critical platform for fostering international academic networks, which will in turn support Thailand’s sustainable economic and social development. Furthermore, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) has placed strong emphasis on driving research and innovation that directly address national priorities. In this context, the conference will serve as a mechanism to support public policy by generating new knowledge, elevating research to global standards, and facilitating knowledge transfer to both industry and society.
IEEE TEMSCON-ASPAC 2025 is therefore not only an international academic conference, but also a strategic instrument for developing high-quality human capital and enhancing Thailand’s position as a leading hub for science, technology, and innovation in the Asia-Pacific region.
